چکیده

Aqueous two-phase systems (ATPS) based on ionic liquids (IL) and deep eutectic solvents (DES) are ecofriendly choices can be used to selectively separate compounds of interest, such as bioactive compounds. Bioactive nutrients nonnutrients animal, plant, microbial origin that benefit the human body in addition their classic nutritional properties. They also for technical purposes food active components chemical pharmaceutical industries. Because they usually present complex matrices low concentrations, it is necessary them order increase availability stability, ATPS a highlighted technique this purpose. This review demonstrates application IL DES tool recovering nonprotein compounds, considering critical factors, results most recent advances field. In addition, emphasizes perspectives expanding use nonconventional purification systems, which consider molecular modelling predict experimental conditions, investigation diverse phase-forming establishment optimal operational parameters, verification bioactivities after process.

Aqueous Ionic Liquids and Deep Eutectic Solvents for Cellulosic Biomass Pretreatment and Saccharification.

Ionic liquids (ILs) have proven effective solvents for pretreating lignocellulose, leading to the fast saccharification of cellulose and hemicellulose. However, the high current cost of most ILs remains a major barrier to commercializing this recent approach at a practical scale. As a strategic detour, aqueous solutions of ILs are also being explored as less costly alternatives to neat ILs for ...

Micellization of long-chain ionic liquids in deep eutectic solvents.

The aggregation behavior of the ionic liquid (IL) 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride with different alkyl chain lengths in a deep eutectic solvent (DES, composed of choline chloride and glycerol in a 1 : 2 mole ratio) was studied for the first time. The critical micellar concentration, micellar size and intermolecular interactions in IL/DES solutions were investigated by different techniques ...

Ionic liquids and deep eutectic mixtures as new solvents for the synthesis of vanadium fluorides and oxyfluorides.

An exploratory study of the synthesis of vanadium (oxy)fluorides (VOFs) using ionic liquids (ILs) and deep eutectic mixtures (DESs) as a solvent yielded 10 different materials. The previously reported chain type: (NH(4))(2)VF(5) (1), (NH(4))(2)VOF(4) (2), NH(4)VO(3) (3) and (H(2)NH(2)(CH(2))(2)NH(2))VF(5) (9) have been successfully produced for the first time using ILs as the reaction media. Th...

Ionic liquid-based aqueous biphasic systems as a versatile tool for the recovery of antioxidant compounds.

The comparative evaluation of distinct types of ionic liquid-based aqueous biphasic systems (IL-ABS) and more conventional polymer/salt-based ABS to the extraction of two antioxidants, eugenol and propyl gallate, is focused. In a first approach, IL-ABS composed of ILs and potassium citrate (C6H5K3O7/C6H8O7) buffer at pH 7 were applied to the extraction of two antioxidants, enabling the assessme...
